They are known as the genus of the fungi kingdom as they have the unicellular microorganism like the molds and yeasts. Fungi are considered as the kingdom and the Wawea plant is considered in the kingdom of fungi. The Wawea cell walls contain the chitin which is not found in the bacteria and other plants walls. They are considered similar to the animals as they consume food by absorbing the dissolved molecules and their growth is different. The Wawea fructiculosa is the new species of southern hemisphere the Lichenologist. Wawea is the lichenized genus which belong o the fungi kingdom and the single species of the Wawea is known as the Wawea fructiculosa. Wawea belong to the family of arctomiaceae. They belong to the ascomycota phythm and they all belong to the kingdom of fungi. Wawea are the asexual which means that they do not have their sexual cycle. As Wawea belongs to the fungi kingdom it shares many characteristics with it. It also shares some of characteristic with the phythm and the family. They are asexual, don’t have cycles and are considered as rare plant in southern hemisphere.
